On February 22nd, 2022, Ukrainian director Serhii Ilin premiered a play at a theatre in Odessa. However, just two days later, the production was abruptly closed down due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, as the theatre was requisitioned for use as a military hospital.
Currently a refugee in the Faroe Islands, Serhii Ilin has staged a play with Det Ferösche Compagnie.
'WHEN THE WAR IS OVER' is a production centered around a Soviet soldier and a German woman who cross paths on the front lines in Berlin during the final days of World War Two.
This project is a collaboration involving the Red Cross Faroe Islands, Red Cross Denmark, and The Nordic House.
